Sandy Thrasher Ourso is a wife, mother, aunt, sister, retired journalist, author, painter, illustrator, photographer and dog lover.  After graduation from Louisiana State University, she worked as a newspaper reporter and editorial writer, and served as Executive Director of the Governor's Partnership for a Drug-Free Louisiana under two governors.  She has been a Bible study leader,  and has spoken across the South in churches and at luncheons and dinners sponsored by organizations such as Stonecroft Ministries which is based in Overland Park, Kansas.  Sandy grew up in North Louisiana, spent 10 years in Dallas, and now lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, Lynn.  To order her book, Rescued by Prayer,  click the link below.
